ST4T Employment: Objective # 2- Write your resume. Update it at least once a year or when things change.

Everyone is scared to put themselves out there, but it isn't as hard as you'd think. Half the battle is making a resume and cover letter, and there are tons of sites that will format them for you for free! Some useful links for resume/cover letter building can be found below:

Canva has lots of templates and graphics you can use to make your resume or cover letter stand out exactly how you want.

Zety will make it easy for you to make any resume look sleek and professional.

Enhancv steps you through each key part of your resume, doing most of the formatting for you, just enter your info!

Aside from that, there are lots of job search sites where you can search for exactly what you want, where you want it, and even apply for jobs directly on the site. And, if you want that personal touch, just find the job you want to apply for, and go into their office in person to ask for an application. Some useful job search tools can be found below:

If you don't already have a LinkedIn profile, now is the time to make one. It is basically the Facebook of the business world, and you can make a great first impression with a professional-looking portfolio right on your profile page. You can also apply for jobs right on LinkedIn.

Indeed lets you upload a resume, and some jobs can be applied for in just a few clicks!

Glassdoor can be used to search for jobs that might not appear other places. Not as intuitive as LinkedIn or Indeed, but certainly another useful resource.

Sometimes checking multiple sources for jobs will yield different results. To make sure you find all available opportunities, check every place you can!
